Barbara Bastable, MA, MT-BC is a retired music therapy educator from Texas.  She bring years of clinical and teaching experience to her thinking about ethics in music therapy and has served on the Ethics Board since 2018.

Jen DeBedout, MM, MT-BC as owner of Music Blooms Music Therapy in Vermont where she provides services to multiple populations.  She joined the Ethics Board in 2018.

Debra Dacus, MA, MT-BC is a private practice music therapist and clinical supervisor at TWU. Debbie brings perspective to the work of the Ethics Board and has been a member since 2017.

Jamie George, MM, LPMT, MT-BC, is founder and director of The George Center, Roswell, GA. Jamie serves on the AMTA Ethics Board along with service to the SER and Georgia music therapy organizations.

Kevin Hahn, MM, MT-BC, is a supervisory clinical music therapist currently working with the Office of Innovation and Technology at the California Department of State Hospitals. He brings administrative skills and project management knowledge to the Ethics Board where he has served since 2017.

Janice Schreibman, MM, MT-BC is Assistant Professor and Director of Music Therapy, University of Indianapolis, Indianapolis, IN. Jan brings years of clinical experience to the Ethics Board including private practice work.  She joined the Ethics Board in 2008.

Carol L. Shultis, Ph.D., MT-BC, Associate Professor and Director of Music Therapy, ConverseCollege, Spartanburg, SC. Carol serves as co-chair of the AMTA Ethics Board and has been a member since 2007. Her interest in music therapy ethics grew out of study with Cheryl Dileo at Temple University. She has continued to study and present trainings about ethics since 2000.

Jennifer Sokira, MMT, LCAT, MT-BC is a clinical music therapist at the Resiliency Center of Newtown where she provides music psychotherapy. She is founder and executive director of Connecticut Music Therapy Services, LLC, has served as President of the New England region and been a member of the Ethics Board since 2009.
